Jun Huang Speaks at the Royal Society of Architects in Wales (RSAW) Design Week 2021

15 Oct 2021

The Royal Society of Architects in Wales (RSAW) celebrates Welsh architecture through the inaugural RSAW Design Week 2021 in mid-October. The Society, as a part of RIBA, represents the voice of the architectural profession in Wales, bringing influence to bear on Welsh Government and related agencies.

Jun Huang, Design Partner at Wei Yang & Partners, spoke at one of the key events of the Design Week, RSAW & DCFW Hatch - Big Practice – Big Opportunities. DCFW ( Design Commission for Wales ) was established in 2002 by the Welsh Government as a national organisation to champion goo design for better buildings, spaces, and places now and for future generations. Jun has been part of the DCFW Design Review Panel since 2018.

Jun said, “I was delighted to be able to participate in this great event and share the sceneries along my journey. The global challenges and opportunities require the future talents to have a broad vision, an outstanding skillset and more importantly, continued passion and dedication. Big practice can offer big opportunities and help one truly embrace diversity and inclusivity, so I would encourage young architects to gain such experiences, especially in their early career.”
