Jun Huang, WYP’s Design Partner, attended Landscape Institute’s 2019 Annual Awards Ceremony as an Awards Judge.
2019 is Landscape Institute’s 90th anniversary. The theme of this year’s LI Awards is to promote the transformational power of landscape, and celebrate the value of landscape in connecting people, place and nature. It aims to be the institute’s “boldest, most innovative and most inclusive Awards to date.”
“The prestigious awards celebrate world-class design excellence so it is truly an honour to be part of the judging panel,” said Jun Huang, “ I was also encouraged to see how tackling climate change and bio-diversity crisis was prioritised by Landscape Institute, and that environmental resilient design had been taken on by high standard submissions across globe.”
