Dr Wei Yang spoke at LI Awards 2020 webinar on international collaboration

Today, Dr Wei Yang joined Landscape Institute (LI) Awards 2020 webinar – Open Categories and International Discussion.

In her conversation with Dan Cook, CEO of the LI, Wei commented:

“The landscape profession is about connecting People, Place and Nature. Therefore, effective interdisciplinary partnership and collaboration would be crucial.

By having a broader collaborative approach, it will help strengthen LI’s global influence and promote best practice between different sectors and countries. I am really delighted to see there is a new award category recognising that this year.

Now there is a strong desire from the public to have a green recovery worldwide. This is exactly why we need closer global collaboration and partnership. To tackle climate & biodiversity emergency, we need to think globally, act locally and to be equipped with the state-of-art knowledge and technology.”
